WHAT IS MISCAST?
The Miscast Gala is an annual event put on by Students’ Stage. It’s a variety show of performances by actors who would not typically be cast as those characters.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS?
Choose an act (song, monologue, scene, dance, etc.). You can either perform as a solo act or with a group.
Sign up for an audition time slot (https://www.jotform.com/form/250777300431046). Only one time slot per act!
Fill out the audition form (https://forms.gle/PnyuY9z1xFht9z217). Every performer should fill this out regardless of whether they are auditioning as a solo act or group.
Get comfortable with your act. You will be asked to perform the entire thing, so make sure you know it without needing a script!
On the day of auditions, please show up at the Black Box Studio (Building 45, Room 212) ten minutes before your time slot!
